When it comes to fast food, everyone has their preferences. From burgers and fries to pizza and tacos, there are a variety of fast food options to choose from. These options can vary across the country depending on each region’s favorite foods. Which fast food restaurant is the most popular in each state?
Recipe website HowToCook.recipes crunched numbers from search data from Google Trends to determine the most-searched fast food chain in every U.S. state. Domino’s Pizza topped the list, as it’s the most popular fast food restaurant in 30 states. McDonald’s came in second, with 13 states searching the chain more than any other restaurant. Third place goes to Taco Bell. It’s the most-searched fast food restaurant in five states (Alaska, Hawaii, Indiana, Michigan, and West Virginia). The last chain on the list is popular chicken restaurant Chick-Fil-A, which is the most-searched food joint in both Georgia and Maryland.
