In the major League Baseball Season 2011, out of 284 opening starters nearly 70% of the starters are from United States and remaining players are from South America, Japan or South Korea. Each starter held different positions on the field while playing the game but 1B position was completely dominated by players hailing from United States and in 2B position, nearly 24 starters are from US, 2 are from Venezuela, 2 players were from Dominican Republic and 1 starter was hailing from Japan.
The 3B, SS, CF, LF, RF, SP, DH and C positions were occupied by the players from United States and players from Venezuela stood next to US players in most of the positions.
