If you are having people over for dinner, there are hundreds of different ways you can prepare a rice dish and it is something that is enjoyed with meals everyday around the world. In some parts of West Africa rice is eaten at least once a day. It is a staple crop for the continent of Africa and humans have depended on it for survival for centuries. While rice may have originated in Africa, it is now eaten in many different dishes around the world.
