The lungs of individuals leading a healthy life are pink in color and lungs of smokers are bit dark with accumulation of nicotine content on the walls of lungs. Reports say that on an average , human inhales more than 338 cubic feet of air that can be used to fill 3 medium sedans. Of which 19% of pure oxygen is absorbed by lungs but in case of smokers, the capacity to inhale pure oxygen gets reduced.

Smoking shows adverse effects in human beings and over smoking leads to cancer with which the risk of deaths are high.
