Cyberbullying StatisticsWith the advent of social media networks cyberbullying is the new kind of bullying happening in school circles.

Lets take a look at the statistics involved.  At least 42% of tech connected teenagers have reported cyberbullying.

On an average a US teen is said to be texting 60 messages per day. Here girls out-number boys by sending 100 messages per day. What is more children between the age group of 3 to 10 are increasingly using internet everyday.

About 7.5 million users  of Facebook are known to be aged below 13 years and 10% of these report being bullied online. This amounts to 800, 000 children.

The effects of online bullying is as bad as playground bullying. Most of them ignore it and do not complain to their parents. But with the usage and incidence increasing by the day it is advisable to curtail cyberbullying.
