World’s Fastest Rugby Players – Infographic

 

Football encompasses all the form of sports which to a varying degree include kicking a ball to make score. Rugby is hence a form of football. There are two distinctively different forms of rugby, but both the sports share the same basic rules for the game i.e. getting the ball to cross over a line to make a try (score).

The two distinctive type are- rugby union and rugby league. The beginning of rugby union was seen in England. Today rugby union and both rugby league though most famous in England and neighbouring parts, are played internationally in different forms.

There are different cultural variations to the play and players of rugby all around the countries where it is played. Given that speed is a key factor in this sport, there are a few players who are considered to be the world’s fastest rugby players. Tonderai Chavhanga who plays wing position for Golden Lions is one of the fastest.

Also in the list are Rupeni Caucaunibuca the wing and centre player for Toulouse and Bryan Habana who plays wing position for the Stormers. Takudzwa Ngwenya the wing position player for team USA and Josevata Rokocoko (wing position) for Auckland are also amongst the fastest players.

Other fastest players include Doug Howlett (Munster), Paul Sackey (England), Jonah Lomu (Marseille), William James Ryder (Fiji 7s) and Jason Robinson (Great Britain England)
