Football encompasses all the form of sports which to a varying degree include kicking a ball to make score. Rugby is hence a form of football. There are two distinctively different forms of rugby, but both the sports share the same basic rules for the game i.e. getting the ball to cross over a line to make a try (score).
The two distinctive type are- rugby union and rugby league. The beginning of rugby union was seen in England. Today rugby union and both rugby league though most famous in England and neighbouring parts, are played internationally in different forms.
