This vast ownership extends to numerous territories worldwide, encompassing a remarkable one-sixth of the Earth's surface. Notably, the United Kingdom and Canada feature among the countries where the British Royal Family and King Charles III possess land. Additionally, the Catholic Church emerged as a significant landowner, with a vast possession of 177 million acres spread throughout the world.
