Notably, the United Kingdom and Canada feature among the countries where the British Royal Family and King Charles III possess land. Additionally, the Catholic Church emerged as a significant landowner, with a vast possession of 177 million acres spread throughout the world. These holdings encompass churches, farms, schools, and noteworthy religious landmarks such as farmland, the Apostolic Palace, and the Scala Sancta.
