NASA has estimated a spend of $75 billion for aeronautical research in the next 5 years. Of this, $27 billion is allotted to science, a third of which has been set aside for earth sciences.
Aeronautics and space research have been allocated $8 billion with space technology taking 2/3rds of the share.
$22 billion has been allotted for space operations, of which about 70% will go towards funding an international space station. Cross agency support has been allocated $16 billion with 3/4ths of it going towards the center's management and operations.
