The year 2012 marks the 5th anniversary of iPhone which took the world market by storm when it came out in the year 2007.Now this is a world leader and dominates the smartphones of today. The first landmark is iPhone's introduction in the world market on January 2007 increased the Apple's stock value the next day at $97.80.
The other landmarks are the opening of Apple app store in 2008, acquirement of SiRi in April 2010 which was later integrated in the iPhone 4S and being the world's most valuable company at $337.2 billion leaving behind Exxon Mobil.
Apple's brand value ranking climbed up from the 44th position to the first position since the introduction of iPhone.
