Amazon's ten largest acquisitions ever have all come since 2009, when the company acquired Zappos for $1.2 billion. Other high-priced acquisitions for Amazon over the last decade plus have included brands like Twitch Interactive in 2014 for $970 million, MGM Holdings in 2021 for $8.4 billion, Whole Foods Market in 2017 for $13.7 billion, PillPack in 2018 for $775 million, and Ring for $839 million back in 2018.
