The world is a huge place and there are many regions in the world known for their tourist attractions. Each nation/ country in the world has its own famous tourist attractions.
The nature of these tourist attractions may differ for example some may have a culture values, some may have historical significance or some may be natural or built beauty attractions.
If one observes the recent past graph, many tourist destinations have seen growth in the number of tourists visiting them, while some have also seen a slump. There may be many underlying factors which affect these trends to the tourist destinations.
In making a list of the tourist destinations which may be labelled the world’s fastest growing tourist destinations- Qatar is found to be on top of the list.
The country has a number of attractions such as the Al-Corniche, Al- Khor, Souq Waqif and Bir Zekreet. Most of these are said to be of either cultural or historical significance.
While Qatar has seen a growth rate of 24.6 % in the tourism department, Azerbaijan has seen a growth rate of 22.8% and is stated to be the second fastest growing tourist attraction. The other countries which are included in the list are Tokyo, Kyrgyzstan, Abu Dhabi, Istanbul and China.
