Now that winter’s almost upon us, and the holiday season is knocking at our doors, a fine glass of whiskey and an elegant book is all that one might want to spend those lazy evening with.
But then again, it is only the right kind of the drink that helps enhance one’s evenings and without the express knowledge of which might be your poison, you might very well be spending the evening feeling slightly lost in case of that bottle.
So what is your whiskey? Do you love that what they call a Manhattan that is just the right mixture of whiskey with Grenadine, Angostura Bitters, Maraschino Cherry and Sweet Vermouth or would you simply go with the Straight Whiskey on the rocks of course, neat with a hint of cold in it.
Whatever it might be, always remember what the famous writer Haruki Murakami had once remarked “Whiskey, like a beautiful woman, demands appreciation. You gaze first, then it's time to drink.”
