Many implemented safety procedures have become the new norm. Social distancing has kept people at a safe distance but taken away human contact. It is too soon to tell what the emotional impact this will have on people in the future. Although some nursing home visits have resumed, facilities have had to take extreme steps to minimize the chance of COVID returning and ravaging their clinics. This map of the US shows why these extreme measures had to be put in place.
