The team at TooTimid.com got curious about the number of sexual partners people around the world have. A little research produced some revealing results! You may be surprised to learn that the country with the most number of sexual partners is Turkey, and the country with the least number of sexual partners is India. That might be surprising as both countries are pretty socially conservative. What else might be a factor? We did find that geographical neighbors had similar average numbers of sexual partners. The U.S. population has an average number of 10.7 partners over their lifetime, and Canada, their neighbor to the North has the exact same number. After Turkey, the warm climates in Australia and New Zealand heat up with an average of 13.2 partners per person, but surprise! Number four in the ranking is Iceland with an average of 13 partners per person, so it seems climate doesn’t correlate with coupling.
