West Virginia is unfortunately home to poor mental health throughout the state, so much so that of the 50 U.S. counties with the worst state of mental health, 60% of them can be found there. The team at Charlotte's Web recently took data from the 2022 County Health Rankings to create this new infographic which analyzes where in the United States has the poorest mental health. Their findings were able to determine that the states with the poorest mental health overall included West Virginia, Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, and Oklahoma. In West Virginia, the average number of mentally unhealthy days was 6.6, whereas the average across the United States in general is just 4.9 days on average. In fact, there were only ten states in the country where the average number of mentally unhealthy days for residents were ranked at five days on average or more. Where did your home state rank on these findings?
