Did you know that over 50% of fatal car accidents on highways have alcohol involved? It's a scary statistic to consider, and it's even more frightening to know that there are 20 countries around the world where they don't even have drunk driving laws in place. This infographic from Smart Advocate takes a look at all of the legal blood alcohol content limits from around the globe. According to this, there are seven countries around the world that actually have made alcohol illegal: Afghanistan, Maldives, Mauritania, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen.
There are even countries where there's no legal intoxication limit, and these include Brazil, Hungary, Iran, Pakistan, Vietnam, Uruguay, Romania, and Slovakia, just to name a few of several. Another very interesting piece of information is that you can find the highest blood alcohol content limit on the Pacific island nation of Palau, where the limit is 0.10%. Where did your country land on this infographic?
