According to 7th generation consumer study of 2012, it is stated that most of Americans are worried about the toxins that are found in household products. In America, 65% of individuals are more concerned with personal care products, 63% are afraid of toxins in laundry related products and 60% consumers are afraid of toxins present in baby care products.
When surveyed nearly 60% of Americans have reported that they buy bio-based products when they shop for next time and 58% of Americans have said that they are looking for more greener products.
Most of the Americans started demanding for the transparency in petro-chemical products. When surveyed, 75% said they had long term health risks, 71% had skin problems, 69% had skin irritation and 60% have inhaled the toxic content present in petro-chemcial products. More than 54% of Americans have reported that they like to see the label of "petrol free" on products don't contain petro- chemicals.
