HIIT For Weight Loss

HIIT( High intensity interval training) is a type of cardio vascular exercise that is mostly performed to reduce the body weight. This training strategy involves practicing high intensity exercises for a short period of time and then taking rest for the same amount of time.

According to a study in 2009, 95% of participants have increased their heart and lung capacity by exercising for 22 minutes in 3 days a week. The fitness gained by HIIT participants is equal to the group that gained lung capacity by making 5 workouts per week.

The high intensity internal training performed by participants for 2.5 hours is equal to performing moderate training practice for 10 hours. The professional rowers who have finished 7 HIIT workouts have increased their performance level by 2%. HIIT burns the fat content in the body at quick rate when compared to basic aerobic exercises.
