Whenever we think of the term ‘warrior’, usually the image of a well built, strong and fierce man comes to mind. But if we step aside this limited thinking, we might find many female warriors in the history of the world. Most of the wars fought in the world have been won with the help of female warriors.
Females are strongly determined and have a stronger will power than many men and this is one reason why they perform well at war grounds. Take for example Artemisia I of Caria. She is known to be one of the toughest female warriors to have charged into the battlefield and fought at the Artemesium and the naval battle of Salamis at 480BC as commander in the Persian navy.
Julia Aurelia Zenobia was the queen of Palmyra and conquered Egypt and Anatolia with her fierce attitude and war skills. The Trung sisters are also among the most strong and badass female warriors in the history of mankind as they rebelled against Chinese rule for three years with 80000 army in which 36 women were trained by Trung Sisters.
Some other badass female warriors include the likes of Tamar of Georgia, Joan of Arc, Rani Lakshmibai and Fu Hao.
