Central heating is one of the most important requirements in these winter months when the temperature outside can bone-freeze any man in minutes. A typical household consumes about 23 thousand kilo watts of power per hour, of which 83% is used for heating the house as well as for hot water.

Mostly gas, electricity, oil or LPG is used to heat up homes in England but it has been found that upgrading the controls of one's central heating mechanism can cut the costs to up to 20% as well as increase efficiency. Electric heater have been found to consume a lot of power and in turn raise the monthly expenses which is why it becomes necessary that one buys the appropriate heater according to the requirement as well as room size.
