Many sports, such as soccer, cricket, baseball, rugby, basketball, ice hockey, Australian football, archery, boat racing, American football, Gaelic football, Mongolian wrestling, and windsurfing, are well-liked in at least one country across the world. Soccer is the most widely favored sport in 155 countries, while cricket is the most popular sport in nations like Afghanistan, Antigua and Barbuda, Bangladesh, Barbados, Guyana, India, Jamaica, Nepal, Pakistan, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Sri Lanka, and Trinidad and Tobago. Rugby is also prevalent in several countries, including Fiji, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Wallis and Futuna, and Tonga. As per the World Atlas, soccer has the highest number of fans worldwide, with over 3.5 billion supporters.
