Subdural Hematoma is a common type of disease associated with brain and it is caused due to a serious injury on the head part. In an individual attacked with subdural Hematoma, the blood gets bleeded and it fills the brain area in quick time there by forming clots in the brain. This bleeding damages various blood tissues there by leading to the death of a person.
Usually doctors order for a CT/MRI scan to evaluate the presence of Hematoma and to find the spot of head injury. There are 3 types of Hematoma that includes Epdiural Hematoma, Subdural Hematoma and Intracerebral Hematoma. Subdural Hematoma is an emergency situation and the patient must undergo a surgery named craniotomy through which the blood clots in brain can be removed. The surgery process is carried out by drilling a hole on the skull and removing the clot by irrigation or suction. Acute subdural hematoma's are the most dangerous head injuries when compared to other head injuries.
