While Florida may not have the highest rate of car accidents in the United States, it’s near the top and South Florida tends to be the most dangerous area of the state for drivers – thanks to its densely populated metropolitan areas and the high number of tourists on the road, including spring breakers and international visitors.
South Florida also lacks the infrastructure to handle its skyrocketing population and tourist demand which has contributed to a number of dangerous intersections in the region.
