Lupus, it’s an autoimmune disease that destroys various cells and tissues which in turn effect different parts of the body. The human’s immune system doesn’t possess that capability to differentiate the foreign invaders reaching the body and the healthy tissues present within the body. To prevent foreign invaders from causing the damage, the body will create some auto-antibodies on its own which lead to abnormal pain in the lungs, heart, skin and the nervous system.
Globally, more than 5,000,000 people suffer from this autoimmune disease of which 90% of patients are women. From the total Lupus patients, nearly 10 – 15% of them die due to severe complications of disease.
