
Every one of us are at some point in our lives aware of our genes and the DNa but there are not many who have even a little idea on the workings of genetics or the science behind it.
In a survey that was done to gauge the extent of knowledge of the public on the science of genetic (or there lack thereof! ), it was found that 91% of the Americans agreed that knowledge on their genetic information would help them manage their health better and about three -fourth of the surveyed population have some sort of an idea relating to the fact that genetics, to some extent, is responsible for a person's risk of disease
