Printing technology has undergone radical evolutions and advancements. Although the history of printing started in 200 B.C., where block printing was a technique used widely for printing text, images or patterns, but remarkable progress occurred in the 14th Century AD.

However, printing technology has adverse impacts on environment, 80% of global warming is caused by papers used for printing, and power consumed globally is responsible for 8% of global warming. And cartridges account for 6% of global warming.
