Due to western economy loss from the period August 2010 to February 2012, there has been huge decline in the number of nursing jobs. In terms of jobs, there was 60% decrease in the licensed vocational nurse job and even the registered nurse jobs have been declined by 34%.
Of the total nurses available, nearly 60% of them get hired by hospitals and remaining 40% nurses will be acquired by physician offices, home healthcare centers, nursing facilitycare and other employment services. Based on the degree that nurses acquire, their average median salary gets varied.
