Researchers at PlaygroundEquipment.com created a visualization that compares paid parental leave for both mothers and fathers around the world. Europe dominates the list of paid parental leave for mothers, as all of the top 10 countries are in Europe. Estonia ranks number one with 84.4 weeks of paid leave for mothers. Second on the list is Bulgaria, which offers mothers 69.7 weeks of paid leave to care for their children.
In terms of parental leave for fathers, Japan ranks the highest with 30.4 weeks of paid leave. Korea is in second with 15.4 weeks of parental leave.
