Education is normally considered the prerequisite to a career that would bring in at least the minimum wages if not a truckload of money.
But then again, when you think of people like Steve Jobs or Bill Gates or even, Mark Zukerberg, you realize, that education may have nothing to do with it at all. However a working knowledge of things and a highly polished skill set is essential to make it big.
According to the Bureau of Labour Statistics, more than 60% of the U.S. workforce do not hold even a bachelor’s degree. And with only an associate degree or a post secondary non-degree award or even a high school diploma, one can still get into a high paying job provided lady luck is on their side, ofcourse.
The Bureau of Labour Statistics provides a list of 40 highest paying jobs that do not, yes I said ‘Do Not’ need a bachelor’s degree of which the highest grossing is that of an air traffic controller who earn a median annual wage of $108,040 while the lowest of them is that of First-line supervisors of correctional officers who earn a median annual wage of $55,910.
