The use of internet and other related technologies to harm or harass other people is known as cyber bullying.
In today’s world with the advent of new technologies in communication, misuse of them is understandable though it may not always be tolerable. Sexting, harassing, unauthorized clicking of pictures that could later be used for blackmailing or harming a person are all types of cyber bullying that are prevalent these days.
Which is why, it becomes necessary for parents to teach their children to never give out any kind of personal information on the internet and to strangers.
It has been found that victims of cyber bullying greatly suffer from low self-esteem, increased suicidal tendencies, frustration, uncontrollable rage as well as depression.
The fight against cyber bullying can only succeed with the spread of awareness and through denouncing as well as through educating children on standing up against it.
