Is the risk of a car accident higher in some areas of the United States than in others? The Short answer is, yes. AutomotiveTouchup.com’s insights team created a visual of the 50 cities where you’re most likely to get in an automobile accident, based on data they collected from Allstate’s ‘America’s Best Drivers Report 2019. This report focuses on different factors for the 200 largest cities in the U.S. to compare driving records and find the cities where accidents were more or less likely to occur.
Will this finally answer the question of which city has America’s worst drivers? It seems so as the six cities that ranked as the most likely to have an accident in all hail from just three areas of the country. The worst drivers seem to be located in the Maryland area with Baltimore coming in at number one and Washington D.C. close behind in second place. Did your city rank in the top 50 for where you’re most likely to get into an automobile accident?
