Until April 2013, more than 850,000 Apps were available in the Google Play store while the Apple App store has only 825,000 Apps to offer for the worldwide iOS users. Though Google Play store dominates Apple’s App store in terms of number of Apps, but with 50 billion App downloads, the Apple App store is far ahead of Google Play store in terms of total App downloads.
When you consider daily earnings of each App store, the revenue generated by the Apple App store is 4.6 times more than the Google Play store’s revenue.
