Glass, an essential part of each individual’s life was first created in 3500 BC and from the time it was created, glass has been used for crafting wide range of striking practical objects. A report was built which shows in UK alone 4 million tonnes of glass are produced every year.
From 3500 BC to 2012, there have been several innovations made by taking glass as base and in the year 2012, Michael J Owens has created history in glass making by designing a machine that automatically creates a glass bottle. For this great innovation, Owens was inducted into National Inventors Hall of Fame.
