Gone the days when people would get a full tank of fuel for a minimum of $5 and this infographic shows how the fuel price has leaped in last few decades. In 1962, the average fuel price was $0.31 and it was increased to $0.33 in 1967.

Fuel has become an essential item that keeps the vehicle in a good condition, but the hike in fuel price can have a huge impact on the people normal life. Its bit surprise that in 1972, the price was fuel was only $0.36 and in the same year, the ticket price set to watch the picture ‘The Godfather’ was $1.70.
