Drug abuse is major issue with the teenagers of today with more than 23.9 million users of the age of 12 and above using illicit drugs for pleasure and entertainment. This number represents almost 9.2 % of the 12 and above population in the US.

11.9% of the adults in the age group of 18 to 25 years have being found to be driving under the influence of drugs in the year 2012 but it has also been found that 73% of those who have sought rehabilitations have stayed sober for a period of 4 and above.
