Geneva has been central to many a historical conferences as well as meetings but what brought Geneva back into the news was the recently signed agreement on Iran’s Nuclear deal between the P5+1 countries namely, United States of America, Russia, China, UK and France along with Germany.
These superpowers have successfully brokered a deal with the Iranian government negotiating that they would stop their enrichment of uranium which is one of the key ingredients of nuclear weapons as well as neutralize their nuclear stock pile in exchange for relief in the form of economic sanctions of upto $7billion.
But it is being held by some as being a mistake since cessation of this project would have made the world much safer to live in rather than allowing Iran to continue with its Uranium enrichment program even if it might be limited to less than 5%.
