Toxic chemicals are not just a part of the industries. Today, they are present in our very own homes and threatening us with serious consequences to our health. Some of the most common toxic agents found at home are: painkillers, cosmetics and household cleaning agents. These are found to be 200 to 500 times more carcinogenic than external chemicals.
Toxins commonly found in the living rooms are furniture polish and glass cleaners. In the kitchen we have dishwasher detergent and oven cleaner. Not withstanding, the kitchen sponge and cloth.
In the bathrooms, bath tubs are laden with teams of microorganisms. Cleaners, air fresheners and laundry detergents are the other toxic agents. Weed killers and coolants are the toxic agents in the garage.
Though all of us are affected, the most sensitive ones to these toxic chemicals are the youngest ones - infants in the family. As a precaution, use natural cleaning agents such as vinegar, baking soda, olive oil and bees wax as alternatives.
