Infographic15Americans believe in work, than salary. They crave more for meaning in the work they are doing.

96% of the working Americans agree that being able apply personal interests in their career would make them happier in general, 7% of those who are not able to pursue personal interests in the work place are very satisfied with their job.

68% of Americans would be willing to take a salary cut to work in the job that better to allowed them to apply personal interest in the work place, 48% of those who are able to pursue their personal interests in their job are satisfied.

The job satisfaction difference can be noticed between the generations too. Many have changed their jobs for the same reason and they prefer salary cut and also start their career with the job they desire.

Majority of woman are unable to pursue passion in their job, most of the men regret their career path and would take a salary cut to change into a job where job satisfaction is present.
