Today, windpower, solar power, and hydropower are all becoming more popular with countries around the world in terms of being primary sources of electricity. Some countries are still mostly relying on non-renewable energy sources like coal, oil and gas. This infographic from Dewesoft lists out all countries along with what they're most commonly used electricity source is, along with the kWh per capita for each. According to their research, Denmark is the world leader in wind power, as they use the most at an estimated 2,825.43 kWh per capita. In fact, only three other countries aside from Denmark use more than 1,720 kWh per capita of wind power, with the others including Sweden (2,701.54 kWh per capita), Ireland (2,250.83 kWh per capita) and Falkland Islands (2,233.33 kWh per capita). As a renewable resource for electricity, wind power is also popular in Norway (1,719.37 kWh per capita), Germany (1,605.32 kWh per capita) and Uruguay (1,564.59 kWh per capita).
