Reports say that across the globe, more than 200 million men and 300 million women are victims of the obesity. More than 7% of world's population that is 43 million of adults aged below 5 are suffering from obesity.
The health care costs incurred by the obese person is 25% more when compared to person with normal weight. In United States and Canada, more than $300 billion are spent by obese individuals on health care. It is determined that the persons with obesity will die 10 years than the normal weight person. One out of 20 individuals in Japan and 1 out of 3 people in United States are suffering from obesity.
