In an era which is marked by communication through the internet, most people hold the view that a direct mail hold no importance. But studies have shown that even today, 9 out of 10 people are more keen on opening a direct mail than a email, when it comes to marketing.
It has also been found that 79% of those who have been known to receive a direct mail, react immediately to it whereby 44% of them visit the brand site almost immediately while 72% of these people, make purchase online based on the direct mail they receive. Most people, it has been found, want to be contacted firstly though direct mail and then through other forms of media.
