Vaccinations have become a hot-button topic in the United States over the past few years, with an increasing amount of parents choosing not to vaccinate their children. But how many children are still being vaccinated, and which states across the U.S. have been found to have the most vaccinated children? TruePeopleSearch’s insights team sought the answer to this question using data from the American Academy of Pediatrics and found which states have the highest percentage of children that have been vaccinated against a variety of diseases.
The vaccines that were included in this study were for DTap, MMR, Varicella, Influenza, the combined 7-vaccine series, and the HPV vaccine for both males and females. With some of the highest percentages of children covered across all of these different vaccines, Massachusetts was found to rank in first place with Rhode Island close behind in second place. Six of the top 10 states can be found in the Northeast region of the country. How did your state rank in terms of childhood vaccination rates?
