15 Psychology_of_Music

Music not just affects our soul but when looked at from a scientific point of view, also affects our brain. It has been found to affect more parts of the brain than that is used by humans while performing any other activity. For example, tonality affect the the temporal lobe, prefrontal cortex and the cerebellum while lyrics affect the Wernic’s area, Bronca’s area as well as the motor cortex stimulating emotional responses.

Also, it has been found that listening to music for a long time, might help in developing language skills and creativity thereby fostering a feeling happiness while music is also known to have a healing impact in such neurological disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease as well as in autism.
