Infographics are basically the use of images and graphics to showcase an idea or data in such a way that it is easily understood and retained by the user.
It is an art that needs to be learned and perfected so as to make sure that the content that is being shown though the graphics have a flow to them and that the storyline remains intact.
Using infographics for giving out information that might otherwise be considered too long or boring is actually helpful because it is quite stimulating visual-wise and since the human brain processes images better than text, they are also understood faster.
Color alone, will make any person look at a thing twice and when they are used in infographics, they are actually pleasantly engaging.
