SMS based marketing gained much importance.But, still it is important to understand the attitudes of mobile phone users for generating more revenues. The survey provides useful insights for executing text-oriented marketing.
Most of the people own mobile phones, Smartphones, notepads but 61% of the users receives a very few business texts per month. Only 6% of the participants say they receive 10 business messages for every month.
When asked have you received any marketing text in the last 3 months, 88% of users said no. On the other hand, 68% of mobile technology users are ready to receive business texts.
However, 71% of users like to contact a company using text. Majority of users wanted to have method called opt-out of SMS marketing campaigns.
