Globally, 10.5 billion minutes are spent on Facebook on each day.
On Facebook mobile, an American spends 441 minutes per month and on website 391 minutes per month. It is the citizens of Singapore who spend the most time which is close to 39 minutes everyday on Facebook. 62% people use social media to share good news to maintain real life friendships and 84% use it maintain long-distance friendships.
Even though connecting with people has been made easy, only 50% Facebook users have more than 100 friends.
