With a total production of 11.5 Million in the year 2011, Jwaneng Diamond Mine in Kalahari Desert, Botswana is the richest diamond mine in the entire world. Argyle diamond mine is located in Lake Argyle, Australia and is considered to be another really rich diamond mine because it produced 7.4 million carats of diamond in the year 2011.
Botswana has got another diamond mine called Orapa and even this mine is considered one of the richest in the world followed by Catoca diamond mine, Diavik diamond mine, Venetia diamond mine and Ekati Diamond mine.
