When the volcanoes pushed the diamonds to the surface of the world, Mother Nature might not have realised how much of her would be dug up by humans in a bid to lay their hand on these precious gems.
Diamond are valued based on the 4 C’s : cut, color, carat and clarity with the stones that have no impurities and are colorless are considered the best.
Diamonds can also be found in different colors and these colored diamonds are known as fancies. Colors like pink, yellow and blue are the most common but black violet and champagne colors are also seen with red being the rarest of them all.
