Every day some thousands of mobile applications are designed and developed by the Apps developers. Due to advent changes in the mobile usage, most of the individuals are purchasing smartphones with either Mac os, Android or windows operating system.
There are several applications available in the apps stores of different companies such as 585,000 apps are present in Apple store, 450,000 apps in Android store and 82,234 in windows store. In last three years, it is reported that more than 300,000 apps were developed for different smart phones.
The total number of downloads from the Apple app store is over 25 billion and more than 10 billion apps were downloaded from the Android store. In 2011, the total revenue generated by direct sales of apps and in–app purchases is $7.3 billion and it is predicted that the revenue may increase to $36.7 billion by 2015.
